Vice President Mike Pence has visited Arizona on Tuesday to tout administration’s tax plan. He also attended political meetings and gatherings.
Mike met Gov. Doug Ducey after he landed at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. Later, he met with local business and community leaders in a Mexican restaurant to discuss tax reforms.
He told the gathering in the restaurant that he came here despite mass shooting in Las Vegas because The President wanted him to be here and listen to families that are gathered here today, and also listen to great leadership in Arizona.
Regarding tax reforms Pence said that their tax plan is based on four simple principles, reducing taxes for working families, Cutting taxes for large and small businesses and simplifying tax codes. Vice President walked around the restaurant and chatted with families gathered in the restaurant.
Democrats have criticized this tax plan saying that this tax reform is favoring rich over average Americans.
He went to a Phoenix blood bank to donate blood to raise awareness for those in need in Las Vegas. He tweeted a photo of him donating blood in his twitter handle.
Later, in the evening Pence plans to attend a political reception, he is leaving Arizona on Monday morning.
