Arizona Teachers Decided To Boycott Over Education Funding To Be Held On Thursday April 26

After several weeks of protests, Arizona teachers Arizona teachers finally voted to take forwards their dissent and objections to remarkable movement in the state.
The Arizona Educational Association declared on Thursday late evening that the teachers decided to take part in the boycott over the negligence in funding for the betterment of Public education system in Arizona state, a group of teachers cheered towards the decision taken by Arizona education Association.
The Group of leaders reported that the boycott will be followed by protesting a walkout will start on Thursday April 26, continuing the march on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
“We can go no longer let the status quo go unchanged” told Noah Karvels, a teacher of music who who strived to organize Arizona Educators United, the core leaders of the committee who decided to take forward the Educators movement.
Parents of the students were reported to contact the district schools to verify and question how would they handle the situation of classes if they walkout of schools and being classes held
Joe Thomas, President of the AFA, reportedly told that 78 percent of the teachers decided to walkout. Thomas didn’t mention how long the walkout would continue.
“Educators have delivered as strong message tonight” Thomas told. ‘This is Undeniably a mandate for action”.
On Thursday Gov. Doug Ducey , Tweeted that “if the schools shut down, our kids are the ones who lose out”. The vote is non-binding, so teachers don’t have to participate in the walkout if they don’t want to”
Inspite of above circumstances the core leaders group of the teachers association said that the movement of our protest doesn’t address other needs which would include the raise in pay for the supporting staff and the return of school fund to the level of 2008.
AFA also said that they have booked the capitol lawn for five days from Friday to get easy access in case of taking protest to the peak level by strikes and other way of conveying their dissent.
