Goshala is a non-profit organization, protecting cows and promoting the message of kindness. Since 2010, we have led the effort to rescue & protect cows from cruelty at San Tan Valley, 15 miles East of Gilbert. Goshala is a beautiful environment where cows enjoy being outdoors, freedom and fresh air. They graze in open fields, enjoy the company of other cows and lead a peaceful and happy life.
Mahatma Gandhi described the cow as ‘a poem of compassion’, he also stated that ‘I worship the cow and I shall defend its worship against the whole world’. ‘Cow protection to me is not a mere protection of the cow. It means protection of those lives that are helpless and weak in the world.’ They are the most docile creatures and need our love and support in this brutal world.
AzGoshala organizes events throughout the year in the valley to spread this message. Our Pongal and Holi events are famous and have attracted thousands of people. All these are made possible only because of our great team of enthusiastic volunteers who are passionate about this cause. We are also enrolling kids for our AzGoshala Youth Chapter.
We are organizing, Festival of Dance, Garba and Dandiya nights for Navaratri on Sept 28th and Oct 5th (Saturday 7pm) at Bogle Junior High School in Chandler. Please come support this cause and have fun at the same time. All proceeds go towards Cow Protection in the Valley! Tickets are available at ticketor.com/goshala.
