Celebrate the festival of knowledge that symbolizes education, arts and culture with the puja of goddess Saraswati.
Samhita Cultural Association AZ is organizing the Saraswati puja on 1st of February, Saturday.
The program is a festival which is dedicated to Goddess Saraswati who is addressed to be the Hindu god of knowledge, art, music and learning. This event is celebrated where in the young children invoke the blessings of the Goddess Saraswati.
The program comprises of a puja, a ceremony where young children of age three or four are made to perform the ritual of writing the first letters of the alphabet which is known as haathe khori, a sit and draw competition for kids which would be followed by lunch during which prasad would be served.
You would also get to witness a puppet show where in the kids can enjoy the show as well as it helps in developing their speaking and listening skills.
Snacks and tea would be provided in the evening for you to get refreshed and be ready for the cultural programs that would follow.
