Arizona has 29 cases of COVID-19, says Department of Health Services

The latest number of cases in the state of Arizona has been released by the Arizona Department of Health services on Wednesday in the morning.
According to the Arizona Department of Health Services, it has been said that there are 29 cases in Arizona and it has also been mentioned in their website that eleven cases have been recorded in Maricopa County, eight have been recorded in Pinal County, five have been recorded in Pima County, three in Navajo County, one in Graham County and one in Coconino County.
It has been said that 265 people have been tested as a result of which 148 tests were ruled out and 102 tests are still pending.
Multiple cities in Arizona which include Phoenix and Tuscon have declared the state of emergency which has caused the closure of all the bars and all the restaurants to move to drive- thru, delivery or take- out in order to help in combatting the deadly novel coronavirus from spreading.
Brigadier General Todd Canterbury who is the Commander of the 56th Fighter Wing has said in a Facebook post that the two people who have been tested positive for being infected by the deadly novel COVID-19 have been quarantined along with their family members ever since they have shown symptoms of the disease.
Some store in the state of Arizona have also started having special senior shopping hours in order to protect the elderly who are some of the most vulnerable to the illness.
Basha’s, AJ’s Fine Foods, Food City and Target have said that the seniors would be having special hours before the opening of the store so that they many get what they would be needing before the other shoppers.
Doug Ducey who is the Governor of Arizona has said in a statement in a briefing on Wednesday where in he has mentioned that the state has been working in order to lessen the heavy impact on the local businesses.
He added saying that a letter has been sent to the Small Business Administration where he has requested a loan for helping those small businesses that have been impacted by the deadly novel coronavirus.
