The timing couldn't be more right for Farah Khan to release the first poster of her upcoming mega-movie "Happy New Year".

The poster of Happy New Year was launched on a national daily's front page and on social media on the New Year's Eve day. Within hours it hit the web, #HNYposter started trending on Twitter with over 45 thousands tweets.

Not just that, as a part of its innovative digital campaign, poster digitally signed either by SRK, Deepika or Abhishek Bachchan were being given to social media fans to create further buzz.

The action-musical-comedy starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Boman Irani, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood and Vivaan Shah, is directed by Farah Khan and produced by Red Chillies Entertainment Pvt Ltd.

A huge social media campaign was planned around the launch of the first poster of the film with the lead stars campaigning with all gusto. The movie is slated for Diwali release.
