Prakash Raj is set to direct Hindi remake of Ulavacharu Biryani starring Nana Patekar and Shriya in lead roles. He is planning to title the film as Tadka, according to sources. Phonetically, the word tadka does not match with Ulavacharu Biryani. Another interesting thing about the film is that it will mark the debut of Prakash Raj as the director of Hindi films. Shriya Saran and Nana Patekar, who are playing lead roles, will be an ensemble cast for the film.
Sources close to the developments said that Taapsee will be seen in an important role in the movie. The sources said, "The film has been in discussions for a while and now, the schedule and script have been locked. Nana Patekar and Shriya Saran gave the nod to act in the film, which is likely to go on floors in a month's time. Taapsee Pannu will be playing an important role in the movie."
Ulavacharu Biryani is a remake of ‘Salt N' Pepper’, a Malyalam film directed by Prakash Raj. He won huge applause for the film. It is a love story of a man and women, who become friends after a wrong dial and eventually fall in love, due their mutual love for food.
