Aashiqui has been a sensation in Indian cinema which has been directed by Mahesh Bhatt. It was Mohit Suri who re-created the magic with Aashiqui 2 which turned out to be a massive hit. Aditya Roy Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor turned out to be overnight stars with the film. The movie which has been made on a budget of Rs 7 crores collected over Rs 100 crores in its final run. Now the third instalment of the film is in talks from sometime.

Mohit Suri who is busy with the work of Half Girlfriend and the pre-production work of Aashiqui 3 has been wrapped up recently. As per the latest news, Siddarth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt have been roped in for the lead roles and the regular shoot of the film will start next year. The duo have been impressed with the script and signed the film. It has been revealed that Alia Bhatt will also croon for couple of songs. Vishesh Films will produce the third instalment of Aashiqui which will release during 2018.
