Bollywood star director Ayan Mukerji has taken the responsibility of War 2 and the first schedule of War 2 commenced in Spain recently. Hrithik Roshan and NTR are teaming up for the first time for this high-voltage actioner and the first schedule of the film is wrapped up without the lead actors joining the sets. Some crucial action stunts are canned and there are reports that this is a trial shoot for the film. The footage without NTR and Hrithik Roshan would be used in the film as per the speculation.

There are also reports that stunt doubles of Hrithik Roshan and NTR are used for this action sequence by Ayan Mukerji. The faces of them will be replaced using body swap technology. There are reports that Hrithik Roshan and NTR will join the sets of War 2 from December and the shooting portions will be wrapped up before August 2024. Hrithik Roshan is shooting for Fighter in Mumbai and the film is aimed for January 2024 release. Siddharth Anand is the director and Deepika Padukone is the leading lady. NTR is busy with the shoot of Devara and the film directed by Koratala Siva is announced for April 2024 release.
