Pachi pulusu recipe is good for health, especially during summer season. It is a recipe with the combination of Tamarind, jaggery where the flavors of sour and sweet comes together. The dish is unheated, watery and light. Try it this summer!
Cooking Time: 2-3 mts
Preparation time: 7-8 mts
Servings: 4 persons
Ingredients:
1) Tamarind juice: 2 cups
2) Onions: 4( chopped into small pieces)
3) Green chilies: 3-4 (chopped in to pieces)
4) Dry chillies: 2-3
5) Jaggery: Medium piece
6) Oil: 5 tsps
7) Cumin seeds: 1 tsp
8) Sesame seeds: 2 tsps
9) Mustard seeds: 1 tsp
10) Curry leaves: 8-10
11) Turmeric: 1 tsp
12) Salt: Require
13) Coriander: 1 bunch
Procedure:
Firstly make tamarind juice and keep it aside in a bowl.
Take pan with oil on flame and add sesame seeds, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, dry red chillies, turmeric, curry leaves and saute them.
Now add green chillies and saute again on slow flame.
Later add salt, jaggery, chopped onions in the tamarind juice and mix well.
Finally, switch off the flame and transfer the pulusu( tamarind juice mixture) in to the pan.
Garnish with coriander and serve.
