Actor Dhanush is all set to head straight to Hollywood. He would wrap up shoot for the two Tamil films currently Kodi and Vada Chennai, whch are at present in his kitty. Then he will share screen space with Uma Thurman, an acclaimed Kill Bill star. This is for the film directed by Marjane Satrapi. It looks like the actor is going places.
The Aadukalam actor would be screened along with Uma Thurman in The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir Who Got Trapped in an Ikea Cupboard. Marjane Satrapi is an Iranian-French director and the author of Persepolis, the graphic novel.
After finishing his current commitments, the actor will begin work in this direction. At present, Dhanush is in Pollachi. He is shooting with director Durai Senthil Kumar on Kodi.
According to a Times of India report, Satrapi said, "As I was watching various Indian movies, Dhanush became the most obvious choice — his intelligence, his killer smile, his ability to enter fully into the skin of any character he played (and I can go on and on forever) made me confident that he was the one."
