Tamil actor Dhanush is shooting for a bilingual titled Sir and the film marks the actor's debut in Telugu. Venky Atluri is the director and Samyuktha is the leading lady. Sir is the story of a youngster who revolts against the education system in the country. Sir teaser is out and it sounds like a realistic tale packed with action. Dhanush plays the role of a junior lecturer who fights against the corporate educational institutions. Samuthirakani plays the role of the lead antagonist.

The dialogue 'Zero Fee..Zero Education, More Fee...More Education' reveals more about the film. The cinematography work and the background score are the impressive things of the teaser. Sir shoot is inching completion and the makers are in plans to release the film later this year. The release date will be announced after the shoot concludes. GV Prakash Kumar scores the music. Srikara Studios, Sithara Entertainments and Forture Four Cinemas are the producers. Dhanush is busy with a lot of Tamil projects and the actor signed one more Telugu film in the direction of Sekhar Kammula. The shoot commences next year.
