Who can resist warm, crisp triangles of bread slathered with butter and stuffed with gooey cheese, ham, tomatoes, lettuce or any other meat or vegetable of choice? Delicious and easy to assemble, the universal lunchtime meal choice is apparently one of the most consumed food in the world.

So it came as little surprise when Polish designer Pawl Piotrowski decided to pay homage to the humble sandwich by publishing it in form of a book. Surprised? Read on.

The 27-year-old Pawel Piotrowski, a former student of the Faculty of Graphics and Media Art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, has designed a tome that is inspired by the common ingredients usually used in the preparation of this much loved snack.

From  ripe red tomatoes to yellow cheese to crunchy lettuce and onion ringlets, each page of the tome is a dedication to the ingredients used and will whet up your appetite like nothing else.

Talking about his art, Piotrowski says that his every work is inspired from his everyday life.
