Things couldn't get worse for a Chinese couple who recently found out that they were brother and sister. The secret, which the family has closely guarded until now, came out in the open after they decided to have a baby.

Wei and Qing (names were changed for the report) grew up in the same neighborhood and were thick friends and lovers.

Last year, they decided to get married and have been living a pretty nice life together since.

However, things took an ugly turn when the couple decided to have a baby. That's when the girl's father let out the ugly secret that changed their lives forever.

“It turned out that twenty-some years ago, when Bao was a young bachelor, he had an affair with Wei's mother. Bao lived next door to Wei's parents, but the husband was frequently away. Gradually Bao and the young, lonely woman became friends, and then the friends turned into lovers. Their affair lasted for about two years. After Wei's mother became pregnant with Wei, Bao met someone else, got married, and had a baby named Qing.”

Bao admitted that he did not have the courage to tell them about this long-ago affair during their marriage, despite the strong possibility that Wei was his son. The young couple was shocked, and decided to get a DNA test done and the result was positive.
