In Britain a 13-year-old girl had a contraceptive implant fitted at school without the consent of girls mother, as its all because the girl who felt like having sex with her boy friend.

The Daily Express reported, As the girls mother faulted the school authorities for accomplishing the process without parental permission.

The girl said: 'The implant works really well and I think it is a good service. 

'I think it has really helped me because if I am with my boyfriend and we feel like having sex, I have the peace of mind knowing that I am oK. 

'At the time I didn’t want to tell my mum because there are some things you don’t want to talk to your parents about.' 

Eventually the young teenager decided to tell her horrified parent. 

Reacting to the incident, parliamentarian Nadine Dorries said: "It's a sad indictment of our society today that a mother is more concerned about a school not informing her that a 'minor surgical procedure' had been carried out on her daughter without her knowledge, than the fact that her daughter is having under-age illegal sex at the age of 13."

"Sex under the age of sixteen is illegal and it is time the police begin to put in place a law which was made in order to protect children, because that's what 13-year-olds are, children."

As one of the 33 girl's who have been fitted with contraceptive implant device in Southampton as part of a controversial initiative which took by the government to control the teenage pregnancies.
