As more and more results start trickling down, other than UP, Congress seems to gain on in most other locations.
Imphal and Dehradun in favor of the Congress, which means the party is all set to gain over the states of Manipur and Uttarakhand. Counting begun in these two states also show positive trends to the Congress. Initial results fore cast a second term for the Congress led government in Manipur. And the party is set to grab power from the BJP in Uttarakhand.
Initial counting reveals that in Manipur the Congress is leading in 22 constituencies out of 60 in the state. While its ally TMC is leading in just 2 constituencies.
At Uttarakhand the bells of the Congress success is ringing hard with the party in lead in 32 of 70 constituencies and the ruling BJP just leading in 25 constituencies. Among the prominent candidates, Chief Minister B C Khanduri was trailing by 90 votes in the Kotdwar constituency.
