Banks would not work on April 1 as it is Sunday and April 2 is also a holiday on account of annual closing of accounts. Further April 4 is a holiday for Mahaveer Jayanthi and April 6 is a holiday on account of Good Friday
As banks across the country will be closed for four days during the first week of April, customers would face various problems. In an effort to ease the situation, State bank of India would work upto 5 pm on Saturday (March 31).

To provide some relief for its customers, SBI will work upto 5 in the evening on Saturday (March 31)
