Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan has landed in legal trouble.Jaipur Cricket Academy director Anand Singh Rathore has reported a compliant on Shah Rukh for smoking in publicly at the Sawai Man Singh Stadium at the the time of an IPL match in between Rajasthan Royals and SRK’s team Kolkata Knight Riders on Sunday April 8 2012.
Anand Singh Rathore has registered a complaint in opposite to Sharukh Khan and submitted to the court of the additional chief judicial magistrate in Jaipur, and the case will be heard on April 12.
"Smoking publicly is banned in Rajasthan since 2000. However, the actor was smoking publicly in front of thousands of spectators.Sharukh Khan was broadcast live while smoking on the TV channel which was showing the match," said lawyer Nem Singh Rathore who filed the complaint on behalf of Jaipur Cricket Academy director Anand Singh Rathore.
The complainant said, "The police was taking away any items which are unacceptable, which includes cigarettes at the time of checking.Well it seems that Shah Rukh was permitted to carry the cigarette packet into the stadium which certainly looks like carelessness of the police.
