The veggie Indians always welcomed anything that People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) undertook, but this time they oppose the idea of bringing in porn stars for campaigning.

Are you wondering who that star is?  Well, it’s none other than Sunny Leone who even grabbed a chance in Bollywood with porn star tag that she has.

Notably, PETA appeals people  for switching to veggie besides urging them for adopting the abandoned dogs, through their brand ambassadors. PETA ambassadors appear in skimpy clothes, flash their skin and give dirty poses as a part of their campaign to save animals.

There are also people who feel that the actors campaign for PETA not out of love for animals but their desire to shot into limelight in pushy ways.

Also what puzzles everyone is that how can an ambassador appeal people to switch to veggie just by showing some skin. Notably, popular actors such as Rakhi Sawant and Sherlyn Chopra were earlier brand ambassadors of PETA and now PETA appointed Sunny Leone. People are also posting messages on social networking sites asking whether Sunny Leone was a pure vegetarian.

Nevertheless, PETA defends saying that anyone who helps in saving animals can be commended.  Will Sunny Leone really help PETA in achieving its goal? May be yes as the association already hogged enough attention much before the shoot. (Phani)
