Ingredients
3 quarts Homemade Chicken Stock, or canned low-sodium chicken broth
3 Carrots (cut into 1/8-inch-thick rounds)
Salt
Freshly ground black pepper
8 ounces medium Egg noodles
Cooked chicken meat, shredded (from Homemade Chicken Stock recipe)
1/4 cup chopped Fresh dill
1/4 cup Fresh flat-leaf parsley
Instructions
Take the stock in a stockpot and simmer over medium-high heat. Toss in carrots, and simmer until tender.
In another large saucepan, bring salted water to a boil. Cook the noodles until al dente. Drain off the water and add them to the pot of stock, along with shredded chicken meat. Season with salt and pepper. Cook until smoking hot. Stir in dill and parsley and serve piping hot.\
