Talented actress Keerthy Suresh is known for her versatile role selection and proved herself in Mahanati with a National Award-winning performance. The latest buzz is that the actress is in talks to play Kriti Sanon's role in the remake of the Bollywood film ‘Mimi’, which is about surrogacy and streaming on Netflix. Mimi is an emotional drama with added comedy. This movie is about a girl who rents her womb. If the rumors about Keerthy Suresh doing Mimi, then this might turn to be a milestone film for her career like Mahanati.

One of the leading production houses bagged the remake rights and the movie is going to be made both in Tamil and Telugu soon. An official announcement will be made soon. Keerthy Suresh is currently shooting for Mahesh Babu's Sarkaru Vaari Paata and the shoot is happening in Hyderabad. Parasuram is the director and the film is announced for Sankranthi 2022 release. Keerthy Suresh also signed a bunch of Tamil films that are in pre-production stages. Some of her recent films skipped theatrical release and headed for a digital release because of the coronavirus pandemic.
