India’s ace badminton player Saina Nehwal moved with ease into the second round, on Wednesday. The ace player who is placed at number four in the world ranking fought effortlessly. The 33 minutes singles match show cased the much desired aggression in the Indian.
Saina beats her Japanese opponent Sayaka Sato 21-13, 21-8 to enter the women's singles second round of the Swiss Open Grand Prix badminton event in Basel. In the next match scheduled today, Indian ace takes on Dutch qualifier Judith Meulendijks.
The other results were all that not very prospective for India. In the men’s singles P.V. Sindhu lost to Jie Yao of Netherlands 18-21, 21-18, 19-21.
