According to the result of a startling survey by Forbes magazine, the Arizona Cardinals' quarterback - Carson Palmer - is the ninth-most disliked player in the NFL.

“Palmer has a 24 percent dislike rate among fans, putting him just behind Tom Brady and ahead of Reggie Bush,” revealed Arizona Sports.

Palmer, the 2003 Heisman Trophy winner and first overall selection of Cincinatti, debuted in Arizona in an offseason trade with the Oakland Raiders.

According to Forbes, Palmer's  controversial exit from the Bengals could be a probable explanation for his lack of popularity.

“The quarterback's numbers this season might not have helped either, as he's second in the league with 13 interceptions,” Arizona Sports further wrote.

The list of most hated players is topped by Michael Vick, the currently-injured Philadelphia quarterback.
