The foldable Oppo Find N5 will go on sale in China next month, while the OnePlus Open 2 will hit the global market later this year. Now, Oppo's upcoming foldable device is being compared to the iPhone 16 Pro Max in the latest leaked renders, which show the thinness of the Oppo device and the promise of surprising buyers in this segment this year. These images were provided by Oppo's product manager and couldn't have come from a more reliable source. Oppo Find N5 (or let's call it Open 2) is placed next to a stack of coins and credit cards. But we're glad to see it next to the iPhone 16 Pro Max, which shows just how slim Oppo's new foldable device is. The Oppo Find N5 is reported to be less than 4mm thin, making it the second foldable device to break that mark after Huawei's triple-fold. Oppo and OnePlus are working together and most people agree that the Oppo foldable smartphone will be a OnePlus product in markets outside of China. As you can see in the image here, the Find N5 is placed next to the flagship iPhone 16, indicating the size difference between these devices.
In fact, the 16 Pro Max looks gigantic given Oppo's foldable sleek design. The Oppo Find N5 is almost as thick as a USB-C port, which explains the excitement surrounding the product when it launches next month. More importantly, the launch of the OnePlus Open 2 is sure to generate a lot of interest in markets like India, especially if it lives up to the initial promise of the first Open model. The Find N5 is powered by the more or less famous Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. As we recently spotted on the Find X8 Pro, we expect the device to feature multiple high-performance cameras. All these updates could increase the price, but Oppo is waiting until everyone can see the device in person.
