Anushka has joined the sets of the Nagarjuna’s film in Paris to play her part, said a source close to the filmmaker. It is known that Anushka is doing a cameo in the Nag-Karthi-multistarrer. But what is interesting is that she will play Nagarjuna’s ex-girlfriend or rather ex flame in the film.
The sources said, "Anushka joined the sets of the film in Paris for three days to shoot for her part. It's a surprise cameo appearance which comes in at a crucial juncture in the film's plot. She happens to be Nag's ex-girlfriend who runs into him after a long time. The audiences will be in for a surprise.”
The film is a remake of the Intouchables, acclaimed French drama. In the bilingual film, wheelchair bound quadriplegic is played by Nagarjuna in the movie while Karthi plays as his care-taker. Adding to more interest, a cameo is also being played by Nagarjuna in Anushka's Size Zero.
Nagarjuna and Anushka Shetty have worked together in 7 movies while the most popular of them are Ragada, Damarukam, and Panchakshari. In Puri Jagannath's 2005, Anushka made her acting debut in Telugu film ‘Super’, where she was featured along with Akkineni Nagarjuna and Ayesha Takia.
