Tollywood is shattered and shut due to the second wave of coronavirus. Almost all the film shoots are kept on hold and the theatres are closed after the number of cases increased. The Film Chamber imposed special restrictions for film shoots. Few films are doing shoots in these critical days. Allu Arjun decided to shoot for his upcoming movie Pushpa that is directed by Sukumar. The shoot of the film is happening without breaks in the outskirts of Hyderabad. The shoot of Pushpa came to a halt after the lead actor Allu Arjun is tested positive for coronavirus.

The actor himself informed the news through his official social media page. "Hello everyone! I have tested positive for Covid. I have isolated myself at home and have been following all the protocols. I request those who have come in contact with me to get tested. Stay home, stay safe and get vaccinated when you get the chance. I request all my well-wishers and fans not to worry about me as I am doing fine" posted Allu Arjun on his twitter handle. Pushpa is a big budget film that has Rashmika Mandanna as the leading lady. Mythri Movie Makers are the producers and Pushpa is aimed for December 2021 release.
