Stylish Star Allu Arjun gained national recognition with Pushpa: The Rise and the film was directed by Sukumar. The film grossed more than Rs 100 crores across North India and the film also did well in Telugu states and overseas. The makers announced the sequel titled Pushpa: The Rule long ago and the pre-production work of the film is happening at a faster pace. Sukumar is done with the script of Pushpa: The Rule and the locations are scouted. Devi Sri Prasad's music album is done and the other works reached the final stages.
As per the update, Allu Arjun is completely focused on Pushpa: The Rule. He and his father Allu Aravind will take the complete hold on the film's business. A Bollywood producer offered Rs 100 crores for the Hindi rights of the film but Allu Arjun rejected the deal. He only wants the makers to close the deal before the release so that they can earn bigger. Allu Arjun asked the makers not to close any non-theatrical deals now. Rashmika Mandanna plays Allu Arjun's wife and Anasuya, Fahadh Faasil, Sunil will be seen in other important roles. Mythri Movie Makers are the producers and Pushpa: The Rule is expected to be made on a budget of Rs 300 crores.
