Stylish Star Allu Arjun scored the biggest hit with Pushpa: The Rise in his career. Allu Arjun plays a gangster in this action entertainer that is set in the backdrop of red sandalwood mafia. Sukumar has been working on the script of the sequel and the film is titled Pushpa: The Rule. The pre-production and the scriptwork has been going on from the past six months. The entire work is completed now and the shooting formalities will start from September 22nd. A massive budget is allocated for the shoot of Pushpa: The Rule.

The film will be shot in Hyderabad, Maredumilli and Kerala respectively. Rashmika Mandanna is the heroine and Fahadh Faasil, Anasuya, Sunil will reprise their roles from the original. There would be new roles in the sequel. Devi Sri Prasad completed composing the songs for Pushpa: The Rule. Both Sukumar and Allu Arjun hiked their fee. Pushpa: The Rule is planned on a budget of Rs 400 crores and is produced by Mythri Movie Makers. The film will have a pan-Indian release next year.
