The Telugu Desam Party senior leader Yerrannaidu Kinjarapu had on Saturday asked the government to cancel all controversial allotments of land. As per the Comptroller Audit General’s report, huge land usurp was listed. Reacting to this the TDP leader wanted that all such land allotments must be immediately cancelled. On these grounds the TDP would be meeting the Governor, Prime Minister and the President to brief them about the various discrepancies that had occurred in these controversial allotments. This unanimous decision was taken by the party in its executive meeting held at Hyderabad.
The leader also expressed his discontent over the erratic hike in electrical charges. The party has decided to hold candle light protest in all mandal headquarters across the state. The leader also vented his ire on the ruling party. He said that the party had bent to the pressures exerted by the liquor and sand mafia. The controversial leader from Srikakulam was the face of the party in Delhi for some time. An avid spokesman for the party, Mr Naidu has always voiced his loud opinion against any issue taken up by the TDP.
