Organ donation continues to be a lucrative bait for the poor!

Following the abominable Gurgaon kidney transplant infamy that made headlines in 2008, the illegal practice of obtaining organs for cash has got new wings.

Recently, a multi billion dollar racket was busted in India that forced poor to donate kidneys, which were later sold off to affluent buyers inn the UK, the USA and Saudi Arabia for a much higher fee.

Poor people surviving below the poverty line are compelled to trade off their organs to fill their stomach and sometimes even fend for addictions like drugs. In most cases, organs are extracted from the dead corpse of the poor without any consent form.

Not just that, there are hustlers who run large scale begging rackets who not only beg at the traffic signals, but are also vulnerable preys of this illegal business.

Quacks all over also influence the sale of illegally obtained organs, which happen to also take place in big hospitals and nursing homes.
