At least 3 people were injured in Phoenix accident on Monday. According to the Phoenix Police Department, two were injured critically, in the collision involving multiple vehicles in south Phoenix.
The collision occurred around 5:50 p.m. at 19th and Southern avenues when a black Pontiac driving westbound on Southern Avenue at a high rate of speed collided with a black SUV at the intersection, police said.
A young girl was ejected from the SUV and suffered extremely critical injuries. She was evacuated to a local trauma center, police said.
The driver of the Pontiac was hospitalized with serious injuries, police said. Another man suffered injuries, but police did not provide specific details.
