A newcast director of a TV station decided to resign from his job, but the way he gave his resignation was by printing it on a large cake.
Isn’t it tasty resignation!
The sweet message began as "Please accept this cake as formal (and delicious) notice of my resignation,” followed by “I will miss KOLD and all the incredible people I’ve been fortunate enough to work with over the last four years.”
Herman who was working at KOLD-TV has accepted a job at TV station WKRN in Nashville, according to a newspaper. So he wanted to break the news in a soft way.
“My coworkers and I are really a tight working group,” he said. “I thought this would make it easier. You can’t be sad at a cake.”
The response to such a resignation made a everybody laugh. “Laughter,” he said. “Everyone loved it.”
“I’m really lucky to have such good bosses who have a sense of humor,” he said. “There are no hard feelings on either side. They are sad to see me go and I am sad as well.”
