President Donald Trump met India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday on the sidelines of the G7 summit in France. Both the leaders held talks about a wide range of matters, including the Kashmir issue.

Trump, at the meeting, said: "We spoke last night about Kashmir, Prime Minister really feels he has it under control. They speak with Pakistan and I'm sure that they will be able to do something that will be very good.”

PM Modi is in Biarritz to attend the G7 Summit hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron. France extended an invitation to India to take part in the G7 summit though it is not the member country of the G7.
