In Goodyear, on Friday, Peyton Munger a 12-year old boy was hit by a school bus while he was crossing the Indian School Road on his skateboard.

As per the Police, the reason for this crash was not due to impairment. This incident took place at 4 pm outside Western Sky Middle School near 144th Avenue and Indian School Road. Peyton was rushed to the local trauma center and having fought the pain, he died.

The bus driver didn’t leave the spot after the incident took place and the students in the bus didn’t get hurt. As the police were investigating, traffic in this area was restricted.

He was an outgoing and kind child and just joined Western Sky three months back.

People across came by and left flowers and candles at the spot where this incident took place.

A lady, Deanna, was a witness to this tragedy. She said "I saw a body laying on the ground and a skateboard underneath the bus,"

Jayden Garbrera, one of Peyton’s friend said "Everyone was freaking out," She added, "The bus driver was telling us to stay calm, and everybody said that they know him. His name is Peyton, and I recognized that that's Peyton."
