Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on his US tour currently and he will speak at the Quad Summit that is scheduled to take place today. Narendra Modi received a warm welcome from the Indian Americans and he had a meeting with Kamala Harris, the Vice-President of USA who hails from the Indian origin. Narendra Modi surprised Kamala Harris with a special gift. Modi gifted Harris with a copy of the old notifications of her grandfather PV Gopalan in a wooden handicraft frame. PV Gopalan was a government official who served the nation in various positions. He also gifted Kamala Harris with a Gulabi Meenakari Chess set.

Gulabi Meenakari set is associated with Varanasi which also happens to be the constituency of Narendra Modi. Modi also gifted a silver Gulabi Meenakari Ship for Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison. It is bright and reflecting. Narendra Modi gifted a Sandalwood Buddha to Yoshihide Suga, the Prime Minister of Japan. Narendra Modi will speak at the Quad Summit today. Narendra Modi had a meeting with Australian counter Scott Morrison. He also met CEOs of Qualcomm, Adobe, First Solar, General Atomics and Blackstone in Washington. This happens to be the seventh visit of Narendra Modi to the USA since 2014 after he took the oath as the Prime Minister of the country.
