Maverick director Sanjay Leela Bhansali who surprised the audience last year with Bajirao Mastani has been working on his next project titled Padmavati. The movie is said to be a big budget movie and Deepika Padukone has been roped in to play the title role. Top production houses Eros International and Viacom 18 joined hands along with Sanjay Leela Bhansali Productions to bankroll the film which has been planned on a budget of Rs 150 crores.

As per the latest news, Eros International reportedly walked out of the project and they have not revealed the exact reason. An inside source revealed that they have not been commercially happy with the journey over the past few years and decided to walk out from Padmavati. Sources also informed that Bhansali is in talks with Reliance Jio who are shortly making their debut into films. More details to be revealed soon.
