Versatile filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali is back with his latest movie Bajirao Mastani and the movie clashed with Sharukh Khan’s Dilwale at the box-office on December 18th. Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra played the lead roles in the movie which has been made on a budget of Rs 210 crores.
Bajirao Mastani opened decent across the domestic circles and it received tough competition from Sharukh’s Dilwale in the multiplexes. Bajirao Mastani collected Rs 12.80 crores on its opening day and the movie minted Rs 15.52 crores on Saturday. Though the movie had poor word of mouth, Bajirao Mastani witnessed huge growth in collections and the movie impressed the multiplex audience.
Bajirao Mastani maintained the same growth on Sunday and Bajirao Mastani collected Rs 18.45 crores on its third day which has been remarkable. Bajirao Mastani collected Rs 46.77 crores in the first three days and Sanjay Leela Bhansali composed the music. The second half of the movie has been slow paced which made the audience disappointed. Sanjay Leela Bhansali produced the movie on Bhansali Productions banner and Eros International produced the movie.
