Sensible director Gauri Shinde made a huge impact with her debut movie English Vinglish. She is now back with her second directorial titled Dear Zindagi and the film is said to be a breezy drama. Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt played the lead roles in the movie which released all over last Friday. The trailer and the songs raised the expectations all over. Dear Zindagi released in over 1800 screens across the globe and the film has been well accepted by the audience.

Dear Zindagi collected Rs 8.75 crores on its first day and it has been well accepted by the multiplex audience. Dear Zindagi gained strength every single day and it collected Rs 11.25 cr and Rs 12.50 cr on Saturday and Sunday. Dear Zindagi minted Rs 32.50 crores which has been outstanding for a film that has been made on a decent budget. Despite of negative reviews, the movie managed to stay strong across the weekend. Dharma Productions, Hope Productions and Red Chillies Entertainments produced Dear Zindagi.
