A Wichita man lost his fingertip when was trying to get back his stolen wallet from his car.
Police told The Wichita Eagle that the wallet was stolen from the victim’s unlocked car early Friday.
Even while the man tried to recover his wallet from the car that was being stolen, the thief rolled up the window and drove off. The man lost the tip of his index finger in the chase.
The victim was treated at a Wichita hospital. Hunt is on for the car thief.
