Two car collision in Phoenix resulting in 5 seriously injured including two children

Phoenix; Nov 9:
A two car accident on the 42nd and Maryland Avenues resulted in severe injuries to 5 people. This two car accident in West Phoenix on Nov 9, caused severe injury to 2 children and 3 adults, who all were later rushed to local hospitals. Fire Department officials confirmed the accident on Thursday noon and all 5 of them taken to hospital later in the afternoon
The children injured include a 1 year old girl and a 2 year old boy, who are taken to Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Four of those injured were in the same car including 20 year old man, 19 year old woman, 2 year old boy and 1 year old girl. It is reported that the man and the children are in serious condition while the woman was stable last night.
The woman accompanied the children to the Phoenix Children’s Hospital. While the 20 year old man was taken to Banner Thunderbird Medical Centre in a serious condition. The two vehicles were believed to be speeding in when the crash occurred. But nothing is yet established about the actual cause and condition of the people driving the two vehicles.
The second of the vehicle which collided, was driven by a 62 year old man who had to be extricated from the car by firefighters. He was later taken to Thunderbird Hospital in a serious condition. The first vehicle is believed to be occupied by a family but the identity and relation of the 4 injured is still not clear.
Further details are unavailable currently but the Phoenix Police is still investigating the cause of the accident. The immediate cause is still unknown. More details to follow as investigation progresses.
