Zesty Spiced Cranberry Sauce for Thanksgiving

In fact, a nice scrummy Thanksgiving table includes a wad of delicacies — from pumpkins to sweet potatoes to cranberries — and more. Talking about the luscious berries, we bring you an easy-to-rustle-up recipe of a delectable cranberry sauce spiced up with ginger and clove. This zesty sauce won't just add spark to your dinnertime, but also might win you a standing ovation. Yeah, it's that good! What's more. You can make this sauce well in advance and refrigerate it until Christmas time. Take a look at the recipe.


Ingredients
1 bag Cranberries (fresh or frozen)
1/2 cup Dark-brown sugar
1 cup Water
1 tablespoon Fresh ginger ( finely grated peeled)
1/8 teaspoon Cloves (ground )

Instructions
In a pan, bring cranberries, water, sugar, ginger, and cloves to a boil over high.
Turn the heat to simmer and cook, stirring occasionally until cranberries are cooked and burst open and sauce is slightly thickened.
Remove from heat and allow it to cool at room temperature. Serve with your turkey or ham.
