Creative director Ram Gopal Varma will always be in news the moment his new project begins. With his latest movie Department’s release is round the corner, he tweeted to put an end to the assumptions and speculations that were in air over Big B’s character.

Many film experts and others were feeling that Amitabh Bachchan’s role would be similar to the role in Sarkar. He has said that except for the grey hair and looks, there was no resemblance between Amitabh Bachchan’s characters in Sarkar and Department. The character in Department was more nasty, he tweets.

It may be mentioned here that Department movie is scheduled to release in June. However, the film unit is apparently reshooting some of the scenes besides the entire climax was decided to be changed as Sanjay Dutt and the film production house were not happy with the climax. The climax will now be shot by the direction crew of maverick director Ram Gopal Varma. Also, a song was also scheduled for re-shoot.

Department would be released simultaneously in both Hindi and Telugu while the Telugu version will be a dubbed one. Notably, grandson of star producer Rama Naidu, Rana will appear as a cop in this film. RGV fans are eagerly awaiting for the new flick to hit theaters. (Phani)
