After reporting an easy victory in the first T20 against West Indies, Team India reported a nail-biting victory in the second T20 that took place last night in Eden Gardens, Kolkata. West Indies won the toss and elected to bowl first. Team India scored 186 for the loss of 5 wickets in their 20 overs. Rishabh Pant (52 not out), Virat Kohli (52) and Venkatesh Iyer (33) are the top scorers for the side. Roston Chase (3/25), Sheldon Cottrell (1/20) and Romarrio Shepherd (1/34) took the major wickets among the bowlers of West Indies.

Chasing a target of 187, West Indies lost the match by 8 runs. West Indies scored 178 for the loss of 3 wickets in this nail-biting match. Rovman Powell (68 not out), Nicholas Pooran (62) and Brandon King (22) scored the best out of the batsmen. Bhuvneshwar Kumar (1/29), Ravi Bishnoi (1/30) and Yuzvendra Chahal (1/31) took three wickets among the Indian bowlers. Rishabh Pant is named as the Player of the Match and the third, final T20 will take place on Sunday. Team India already won the T20 series by 2-0 and is eyeing a clean sweep.
