The Oppo Reno 12 series launched in India this week, and with these devices the company is taking its premium design, cameras and AI features to a new price segment. Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity chipset, their primary camera has OIS and ColorOS 14 support. The phones support similar features and support 80W fast wired charging. Oppo Reno 12 has been released in the country. 32,999 for Rs, which gets you a single 8GB + 256GB variant. The Reno 12 Pro is available in 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB variants and is priced at Rs 36,999 and Rs 40,999 respectively. The new Renault 12 series will go on sale in the country from July 18. The Reno 12 series is powered by the same Snapdragon 7300 chipset, however, the Reno 12 only comes with 8GB of RAM, while the Reno 12 Pro also has a 12GB variant. Both phones run Android 14-based ColorOS, which offers artificial intelligence features thanks to Google's Oppo AI technology.

The Reno 12 has a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1200 nits peak brightness. While the Reno 12 Pro has a 6.7-inch quad-curved AMOLED display with a dynamic refresh rate of 120Hz and a peak brightness of 1500 nits. Price difference The Reno 12 offers 50MP with OIS + 8MP + 2MP sensors, while the Pro has a 50MP rear with OIS + 8MP + 50MP telephoto lens. Even the front-facing camera is offered with the Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro offering 32MP and 50MP cameras, respectively. The 5,000mAh battery on both models supports 80W charging speed, but in terms of weight, the Reno 12 weighs 177g, while the Reno 12 Pro weighs 180g and has a slimmer design. Other features include IP65 protection, stereo speakers and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
