Facebook Messenger is finally rolling out a new feature where users can now remove sent messages which they have sent.
Facebook has announced that the new feature is now rolling out to users who are using the latest version of the app on iOS and Android.
You can now get an option to delete a message either just for you or for everyone.
You need to be quick because this has to be done within 10 minutes of the message being sent similar to WhatsApp.
According to The Verge report, “Facebook tells the new feature will be available today on the latest versions of Messenger for iOS and Android. The company says the new ability is based on the Zuckerberg power, but it underwent 'some improvements to provide broader functionality to people using Messenger.”
Facebook-owned app Instagram already supports the "unsend" capability and allows users to remove a sent message for all participants in the personal or group chat.
This prototype feature was first discovered in a prototype code in October 2018 that is six months after the social networking giant announced it was in favour of building the "unsend" functionality
