RRR carried humongous expectations and the film opened with a bang all over. The film directed by SS Rajamouli featured NTR, Ram Charan in the lead roles. Alia Bhatt and Olivia Morris played the leading ladies and Ajay Devgn, Samuthirakani, Shriya Saran played other important roles in this periodic drama that is set in 1920s before independence. RRR opened with a bang and the film maintained the strength in its first weekend. RRR is the highest ever grosser of the year for the first weekend and the numbers are just outstanding.

RRR collected a theatrical share of Rs 275.72 crores in three days across the globe in three days in all the languages. The movie has to do well during the weekdays to recover the investments. With no releases this Friday, RRR is expected to have a super strong second weekend. The weekdays' numbers too are quite crucial for the film. RRR is made on a budget of Rs 450 crores and is produced by DVV Danayya. MM Keeravani composed the music and background score. Here are the first weekend collections of RRR:
