Actress Deepika Padukone has stated that she would love to do 'Shuddhi'.  But, she has not been approached by the producers, said the Deepika.

Deepika made her clarification on not being part of the film by Karan Johar production on Friday during the unveiling of 59th Idea Filmfare Awards issue.

The 'Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela' actress said that she would definitely be part of the movie if the producers approach her. Deepika also said that Karan Johar would come to her only if he felt that she can do justice to the role in 'Shuddhi'.

However, if the producer believes that she will do justice to it then she will love to be part of the film," Deepika added.

According to rumours in Tinsel town, Dippy was to replace Kareena Kapoor in the film.
