Mumbai Police issued summons notice to actor Arjun Rampal in connection with his alleged meeting with convicted gangster Arun Gawli in JJ Hospital late last year.
According to the source the actor met Gawli at JJ Hospital on December 29in related to next upcoming movie, in which Arjun is playing role of Gawaii.
The meeting between actor Arjun and Arun Gawali took place in JJ hospital when the gangster was taken to hospital. Personnel from the hospital have informed the police and they have reached the spot.
Rampal was told he could not meet Gawli without the court’s permission, after which Rampal left,” said a senior police officer.
The JJ Marg Police has issued summons notice to actor Arjun Rampal asking him to present before them Mumbai Police spokesperson DCP Dhananjay Kulkarni said further course of action would be decided after the actor responded to the summons.
