A metro Atlanta homeowner almost landed up in jail for his unusual Christmas decoration!
Apparently, one of his Christmas decorations prompted a response from local emergency officials, after someone dialed 911after mistaking a mannequin dangling outside his window for a real human.
Bubba Murphy of Berkeley Lake told WSB-TV that “homeowners in his Cobb County neighborhood go all out with their Christmas displays every year. Murphy’s house features a mannequin with outstretched arms supported by a string of Christmas lights clinging to a ledge and a toppled ladder in the front yard.”
Murphy said a passerby mistook it for real and called 911.
Murphy says fire officials told him to temporarily take the display down.
