The captain of Royal Challengers Bangalore Virat Kohli reportedly received ‘unofficial’ warnings from the BCCI allegedly for meeting his love lady Anushka Sharma during rain delay in the RCB's match against Delhi Daredevils on Sunday.
A popular media house has reported that he was questioned about the violations of code of conduct when the match is going on.
"We shouldn't blow the thing out of proportion but I have spoken to him and told him he shouldn't speak to anyone when technically the match is still on," said IPL chairman Rajiv Shukla told India today.
"At the Chinnaswamy [stadium], there is only a partition between the VIP enclosure and the players area and hence he may have spoken. If the ACSU officials inform us, we will definitely warn him but I have already informally spoken to him and told him not to do this," Shukla added.
The anti-corruption and security unit (ACSU) do not allow any outsider to interact with the players in view of possible betting chances. Even the wives, daughters or any blood relative should not try to meet the players when the match is on.
In a reply to Delhi's 187 RCB started its chasing but, after 1.1 overs it rained, but RCB has qualified for the playoffs.
Earlier, Anushka Sharma was showcased as the reason for the poor performance of Virat Kohli in World Cup, but the cricket star ruled out all those comments. Now she is being projected as the reason for rain during the match. These have no links, but crazy netizens and media are taking their version on his failures.
